AI Onboarding Assistant

The AI Onboarding Assistant reimagines how users get started with complex software products. Instead of static tutorials and tooltips, users engage in a natural conversation that adapts to their goals and experience level.

Built on GPT-4, the assistant understands context and intent, guiding users through setup steps while answering questions in real time. The conversational interface reduces onboarding drop-off by making the process feel personal and effortless.

We designed the system to learn from each interaction, continuously improving its recommendations and flow. The result is an onboarding experience that feels less like a checklist and more like having a knowledgeable colleague walk you through everything.

The technical stack combines Next.js for the frontend with OpenAI's API for the conversational layer. v0 was used extensively during prototyping to rapidly iterate on the interface design.

Early results show a significant improvement in activation rates, with users completing onboarding faster and engaging more deeply with core features from day one.
